Lew Group gets Honorable Mention from the FCC

The Braille keyboard created by Adrian Lew's team has been awarded an Honorable Mention of the Federal Communications Commission Chairman's 2012 Awards for Advancement in Accessibility.  The award was presented at a ceremony held at the FCC Headquarters in Washington, DC on December 19.  In addition to the awards ceremony, Adrian was invited to demonstrate the keyboard in the FCC's new Technology Center.The goal of the Chairman's Awards is to encourage technological innovation in communication-related areas and to recognize engineers and researchers "whose energies and perseverance have been successful in crafting innovative ways for consumers with disabilities to benefit from our nation's communications technologies."
